Diet and Nutrition Consultations and Packages

You can improve your health, your digestive system, and your energy levels by changing what you eat – but finding the right diet for you and your individual body is difficult. I will work with you to devise a diet which is individually tailored to your health needs, body type and lifestyle. I will advise you on which supplements will make a difference, and which are a waste of money.

  • Reducing chronic inflammation and clearing pain
  • Female hormonal problems e.g. menopause and perimenopause, PMS/PMDD, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
  • Weight loss and maintaining a healthy weight
  • Type two diabetes and prediabetes
  • Digestive conditions such as IBS, Crohn’s and Ulcerative colitis
  • Skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, eczema and dermatitis
  • Poor energy levels, depression/low mood and anxiety
  • Post-natal nutrition programmes for mood, energy, hormone balance and weight management
  • Autoimmune conditions like polymyalgia rheumatica, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis etc.
  • Chronic fatigue, post viral fatigue and long covid

Your Nutrition Consultation

Prior to your initial nutrition consultation I will ask you to complete a three day diet diary recording everything you have eaten and drunk for three consecutive days, along with meal times, so I can see exactly what you are eating and when. I will also request a list of the supplements and medicines you are taking. The initial appointment is unhurried, and lasts one hour. In that time I will take your complete medical history, so I get a detailed picture of your past and present health. Then I will work with you to devise an individual dietary plan to address your health issues, a plan which is going to fit in with your tastes and lifestyle. Often I will give recipes to try. We will discuss your supplements, and make changes if needed. Advice on exercise and relaxation/time management is also included.

Subsequent appointments are thirty minutes long and are an opportunity to review your progress, alter your dietary programme as necessary, discuss any challenges you are having, and develop further strategies to help you achieve good health.  Typically clients come for between two and six nutrition consultations and report that they are incredibly worthwhile in terms of improving both short term and long term health, and achieving long term changes in improved energy levels, weight loss, reduced pain, better skin and hormone balance.
