Cough And Cold Mix

This combination of herbal tinctures is designed to help your body fight off common respiratory infections, such as coughs and colds.  It contains herbs with both anti-viral and anti-bacterial actions, as well as herbs which directly enhance the functioning of your own immune system.  The liquorice in the mix is soothing to the respiratory tract and a good expectorant.

Ingredients: Herbal tinctures of Echinacea purpurea root, Thyme, Elderflower, Elecampane, Sage, Liquorice root, Eucalyptus, and Ginger root.  The tinctures in this mix are made in the traditional way, by hydro-ethanolic percolation with a ratio of one part herb to three parts liquid.  The liquid is 55% water and 45% sugar beet derived alcohol.

Adult dose: 5ml in a little water 3 or 4 x daily when needed.

Children over 5 years old: 2.5ml in a little water 2 or 3 x daily when needed.
